THE FOUNDER

Taj McGill is the CEO and Lead Fashion Stylist of The Styling Firm, a Professional Fashion Styling and Image Consultation Company. She graduated from The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale with a degree in Fashion Design.

Taj is no stranger to the Stylish Scenes. She is admired for her incredible business knowledge and sense of Style. Her eclectic persona dominates any room.

In October 2013, Taj McGill created Talk is Chic Radio in an effort to bring forth Fashion, Art, Beauty and Music to the airways. Her mission was to leave each listener inspired, entertained, and enlightened by each interview.

As a Fashion Journalist and Radio Host, one of Taj’s goals has been to introduce the world to emerging talent in their respective industry while highlighting influential professionals and their contributions. Taj is the Founder and Creative Director of Style in the City Networking Mixer and Fashion Showcase. This event is known as one of South Florida's Most Stylish Nights since 2011 and the initial discovery of Taj's true passion; finding hidden and promising talent while inspiring others to conquer their dreams. Taj has a proven track record of recognizing and highlighting emerging talent while introducing them to a variety of potential clients and presenting Artists with their entrance into the Fashion, Beauty, Music and Art Industries.

Taj McGill continues to create a platform for artistic creatives and has been recognized with a variety of awards. Taj is an asset to several independent businesses and fashion organizations.

It is no surprise that Taj’s love to inspire, motivate, and nourish emerging talent has led to her biggest and most meaningful business venture to date; South Florida Fashion Academy. Taj has worked diligently to create the exact program that she needed as a creative teen without any activities to cultivate her love for fashion, beauty and entrepreneurship. ‘My hope is to birth the next generation of entrepreneurs and trailblazers in the fashion and beauty industries.’
